Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to all orders placed with SafeTails GmbH ("SafeTails") via safetails.com / safetails.ch. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

3. Products

We sell silicone cat collars, AirTag holders and matching accessories. Product images are for illustration; colours may vary slightly by screen. AirTag tracking requires a separately purchased Apple AirTag and a compatible Apple device using the Find My network; tracking accuracy is not guaranteed.

4. Orders and prices

A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation. Prices are shown in your selected currency (CHF or USD) and include or exclude taxes and duties as indicated at checkout (see our shipping policy for customs/VAT details). We may correct obvious pricing errors and cancel affected orders with a full refund.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by our payment providers (e.g. Shopify Payments / Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay). You confirm you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.

6. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout and in our shipping policy. Delivery estimates are guidelines and not guaranteed.

7. Returns and refunds

Our 30-day return guarantee applies as described in our separate refund policy. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain reserved.

8. Warranty and defects

The statutory warranty provisions apply. Please report any defects promptly to support@safetails.com.

9. Safety notice

The SafeTails collar has a breakaway buckle that opens under load to reduce the risk of getting caught. No collar offers absolute protection against every hazard. Introduce your cat to the collar gradually, check the fit regularly, and supervise your cat appropriately.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage. Liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law remains unaffected.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is Luzern, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules provide for a different venue.

12. Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The version published at the time of your order applies.
